breakfast, we will travel by motorized canoe to one of the most remarkable attractions in the Yasun\u00ed Biosphere Reserve: the Parrot Clay Licks.<\/p><p>At the first clay lick, we will remain in the boat to observe flocks of parrots as they gather along the riverbanks to feed on mineral-rich clay. Common species seen in this area include Mealy Parrots, Blue-headed Parrots, Yellow-crowned Parrots, and Dusky-headed Parakeets.<\/p><p>Our journey then continues into the primary terra firme forest. After a short hike of approximately 20 minutes, we will reach a second clay lick, often visited by parakeets and macaws.
